Give Now – Support our work in the community through online giving

Sadly, the church building is temporarily closed for public worship

Further to the government’s announcement on 4th January, the PCC have now decided that St John’s should close temporarily for public worship. Although attended services are still allowed to take place in St John’s (which is Covid-secure) – and so far as we know there has been no transmission of the virus at St John’s – we are aware of the high number of cases in the local area, and want to do everything we can to help reduce this figure.
In the meantime, worship continues online, and our weekly service will be available every Sunday at 10am on YouTube, Facebook & Soundcloud. If you know somebody without internet access who would like to listen to our services, please contact us (email or phone 01932 342263 and leave a message) and we will make a CD available to them.
Our regular Sparklers videos continue to be released every Friday on Facebook.
If anybody is in need of prayer or pastoral support, please contact us
The situation will be reviewed by the PCC on 8th February.

Can we pray for you?

There are occasions when each one of us feels a need for the support of prayer, personally. And during these difficult and taxing times, there may be any number of additional reasons why any of us might want someone to pray with or for us.

St John’s will always offer the opportunity to request personal prayer, but perhaps not everyone is aware of this? There is no need to explain why you need the prayer (unless you choose) – just ask. Send an email to or telephone either 01932 343128 (Hazel Craig) or 01932 851830 (Geoff Jones) and they will make sure that your request is made known to the Ministry Team. Be assured that you, or those you are seeking prayer for, will be prayed for. The same goes for other needs you may have – please get in touch if you need help and we will see what can be done.
