St. John’s leaves the Church grounds clear!

It’s that time of year again – the leaves have all dropped off the trees and have settled in the grounds.

Although we were all very sorry to say goodbye to two old trees this year (which were taken down because of disease), the upside is that there were fewer leaves to sweep this year.

A party of volunteers worked from 8.30am through to lunchtime to sweep and bag up the fallen leaves.

It’s seems like they will never come to an end but, many hands make light work, and the grounds were looking fantastic again by the end of the morning.

Thanks to everyone who came along and helped.
