St. John’s is the Parish Church of West Byfleet. We aim to make it a place to discover God in our lives and where we can celebrate the events of our family and community. We aim to be a caring, open, accessible and attractive church with worship at its centre. We seek to help people of all ages to grow in the Christan faith.

If you are visiting West Byfleet or are new to the area, please do come to one of our services – you will receive a very warm welcome. Here’s where to find us.

If you are looking for a church to worship in regularly or just occasionally, you will be assured of a very warm welcome at St John’s. Our congregation includes people of all ages and backgrounds who enjoy meeting for worship and socialising afterwards. If you have not been to church for some time, don’t worry – our Stewards will find a place for you and help you through the service.

Many people know where St John’s Church is located (the A245 between Cobham and Woking) but not so many take the time to visit. Those who do are often surprised at both the simplicity and beauty of the architecture. If you have the time, do spend a few moments inside the church – it is open daily from 9 am – 5 pm.

This year, St John's celebrates it's Centenary. We have planned a year long celebration, including an exhibition of church life from 1912 - 2012. If you have any memorabilia, please do let us know - full details of what we are looking for, and who to get in contact with, are available on our special Centenary 1912-2012 web site.
